TAI CHI QIGONG
Qigong (also spelled Ch’i Kung) is a powerful system of healing and energy medicine from China. It is the art and science of using breathing techniques, gentle movement, and meditation to cleanse, strengthen, and circulate the life energy (qi). Qigong practice leads to better health and vitality and a tranquil state of mind. In the past, qigong was also called nei gong (inner work) and dao yin (guiding energy).
Qigong is suitable for all age groups, genders and level of fitness. Perfect for those recuperating from illness. It is a very gently form of exercise and meditation.
I discovered Qigong whilst recuperating from a major illness in 2006. I truly believes the twice daily practice of Qigong was one of the major factors in my speedy recovery and survival. I have had extensive Qigong Training with Qigong Master Simon Blow, having completed the mentioned styles at several workshops held in Sydney, Hervey bay and also Gladstone entitling me the credentials to instruct Qigong. I currently teach Ba Duan Jin, Tai Chi Qigong Sibashi and the Guigen Qigong all referred to as Medicinal Qigong, designed to heal and repair the physical and emotional body.

Pilates is not a fitness fad: it is a holistic concept that will not only make you feel fitter and more flexible, but will also enrich your whole way of life. The series of movements will change how your body looks and give you a new physical poise and greater mental strength.
The Pilates movements stretch the muscles and pull them into a longer and leaner shape; it gives a whole body workout that challenges your body like no other exercise.
Essential Body Personal Training is a licensed Studio Pilates studio. Having completed Pilates Matwork 1 and Advanced.
One on one Pilates sessions are available with Angela Larose by appointment only. Referrals from Physiotherapists and other practitioners for clients with specific needs are most welcome.
Studio Pilates is also incorporated in the Foundation Membership group personal training sessions, you must be a member to attend these sessions. Please contact Essential Body PT for further information.

THUMP FIT BOXING
Fit Boxing is one of the ultimate ways to real fitness. If you are bored with your fitness workout try boxing. Fit boxing simply melts off your body fat faster than you thought possible.
Boxing is a total body workout mixing cardio and high impact training for fast weight loss, muscle toning and increased strength.
In a typical boxing workout you will work every single muscle in your body, after a week or two you will see some amazing physical changes to your body.
You will be leaner, more toned and much stronger.
I completed Level 1 and Advanced Boxing for Fitness
courses with Thump Boxing in 2009 and have since revised the courses on several occasions.
Thump Boxing session is Monday 6:15 pm and is also offered in the one on one PT sessions.
