Look briefly at your current health to ensure that weight loss is safe for you and to see if there are any other important health issues that may affect weight loss or need attention.
I will measure your fat mass and muscle mass with a Body Composition Monitoring Unit. Body Composition Unit is a simple electrical device that measures Lean Muscle Mass, Body Fat % and your Hydration level. I do the Body Comp test every week for those on Ultra Lite to monitor progress.
I will explain in detail the Ultra Lite instruction manual which shows you exactly how to plan your meals and gives lots of delicious recipes you can use for the whole family.

Why does the Ultra Lite Weight Management program work so well?

The problem is that these foods not only increase blood sugar quickly, but also cause your blood sugar to drop rapidly soon after – that’s when the hunger and cravings begin. Unless your eating plan takes into account the body’s reaction to blood sugar, you will not feel good. How much does it cost? About as much as servicing your car. It is not expensive, but you need to see exactly what you getting before you can assess its value. Take into account what you will save on expensive junk foods.
Does it involve regular visits? Yes. You can begin Ultra Lite with a 3 week program. This involves an initial consultation, five subsequent consultations (preferably weekly) and a final at the end of your maintenance program.
What happens if I need to do more than 5 weeks? You can do another 5 weeks at a reduced price or do it weekly.
What happens when I am close to my goal weight? There is a maintenance program that shows you how to plan well balanced meals that will not increase weight. The information for the maintenance program as well as a visit about 5 weeks later is included in the price of the initial program.
Does my health fund cover any of the cost? It depends on the level of your membership. You can check with your fund. Some funds recognise Ultra Lite as a bulk item you can claim. You will need to work out which is the best option.
I have heard that rapid weight loss is dangerous, does Ultra Lite come in this category? Rapid weight loss is dangerous on a “starvation” diet. Ultra Lite is definitely not in that category. Ultra Lite is quite rapid, but because there is a good balance of nutrients and because there is less muscle loss, it is very safe.
I have heard that high protein diets like Atkin’s are not safe? Ultra Lite is NOT a high protein diet. The amount of protein and fat is restricted to levels that are less than the average diet. Ultra Lite is very different to the Atkin’s diet.
Isn’t dieting all about avoiding fats? No. Both fats and carbohydrates must be taken into account. Our body can very quickly convert excess carbohydrate into fat. We must have some fats, particularly essential fatty acids. They are called essential, because we can only obtain them from the diet. Omega 3 essential fatty acids are found in Flaxseed oil and omega 6 essential fatty acids are found in Safflower oil. It is necessary to have some essential fatty acids while on the Ultra Lite program.
