Angela has experienced a life of challenges, one in particular that now see’s her empowering hundreds of people around the globe to take control of their health, never give up and never let go of their dreams.
With too much to live for, Angela fought for a second chance, a chance that has now changed the lives of many. Her infectious personality is nothing but inspiring while she claims that fitness can be the anchor that grounds you despite all the surrounding noise. Not only will she deliver the physical benefits of health and fitness, she brings people together throughout her community to share a more creative and mindful reality.

As our world evolves, our lifestyles change and demand can take it’s toll. With a wealth of knowledge, Angela understands the importance of reduced stress, positivity, controlling anger, healing imbalances that cause disease and introducing qualities of calm, harmony, self-healing and meditation. Angela is creative in making an impact on community and driving individual’s goals towards healthier lifestyles.
With a personal interest in weight training and keeping fit, Angela completed her Cert 4 in fitness allowing her to work as a personal trainer. She found that women were looking for “something”, they weren’t sure themselves of what it was that was missing.
“Women crave vitality, inner balance, emotional and physical strength. Pounding themselves at aerobics classes or weight training session’s simply wasn’t working for many”.
Angela also began to research other forms of gentle exercise discovering Qigong in many different forms and styles. It’s here she discovered the book “The Healing Art of Qigong” by Master Hong Liu. With all her wisdom and experience, Angela thought this was not what she was looking for or needed. Little did she know?
How She Survived
Her passion for fitness and a desire to understand the concept of total well being not only meant that Ange was able to gain complete control of her life, it meant that she survived against all odds.
On January 28th 2006, Angela Larose was diagnosed with cancer, the prognosis was devastating, not just for Angela, but for her entire family and closest friends. After numerous attempts at regaining composure, she set out on a journey, a journey which became so personal and full of choices, one choice in particular which was to fight for her life and believe in herself. She became emotionally strong throughout her mind and body and over time developed an incredible strength which not only surprised herself, but the medical team she had worked so hard and so closely with. Her focus was detailed yet simple, her recovery unexpected!
Her instincts had told Ange to take her health into my own hands, and at this point at the very beginning of her fight is where she turned to the book she had earlier discovered, the ‘Qigong’ book. She began practising ‘The Eight Golden Exercises’ also known as ‘Ba Duan Jin’, for thirty minutes, morning and night. Qigong instantly began to calm her mind, increased her Qi while giving her that strength her body needed throughout her journey of healing and transformation.
Now, a firm believer in the combination of Qigong, traditional Chinese medicine, good nutrition, meditation, exercise and a positive outlook, she knows it is these vital things in life along with one very talented surgeon which saved her life and now plays such a critical role in the lives of so many others.
